Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing
The Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing is an advanced professional qualification awarded by the RCVS and is available only to qualified and registered veterinary nurses.

Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing framework
The modular style framework for the Diploma leads to awards in either small animal or equine nursing, or veterinary nursing education.

Dip AVN course providers
- Myerscough College (in conjunction with the University of Central Lancashire) is accredited to offer the Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing. There will be no new enrolments on the Diploma after September 2020.

Harper Adams University is accredited to offer the Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing, but is not accepting any new enrolments. Harper Adams University also offers the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing.
Most fees are due to the course provider, so please enquire with them about their latest rates.
When you register with the RCVS as an Advanced Diploma student, which should normally be after you have completed at least one module, there will be an initial indexing fee, with an annual indexing fee for subsequent years.
At the end of the course there will be a fee payable to the RCVS for the final assessment.
