Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing
The Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing is an advanced professional qualification awarded by the RCVS. Enrolments are no longer being accepted for this qualification. VNs looking to obtain a post-registration qualification may be interested in the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing.
Dip AVN course providers
- Myerscough College (in conjunction with the University of Central Lancashire) is accredited to offer the Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing, but is not accepting any new enrolments. Myerscough College (with the University of Central Lancashire) also offers the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing.

Harper Adams University is accredited to offer the Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing, but is not accepting any new enrolments. Harper Adams University also offers the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing.
Fees
During the course, fees are payable to the course provider. At the end of the course, a fee is payable to the RCVS for the final assessment.
