Biography

Susan Howarth

Susan qualified in 1997 and spent a number of years working in a busy first opinion small animal practice near Manchester. During her time there she gained the Diploma in Advanced Surgical and Medical Nursing and trained as Clinical Coach.

After a period of locuming at various referral and first opinion practices around the UK, Susan moved into veterinary nurse education in 2003. She is currently the Programme Manager of Veterinary Nursing at Harper Adams University, overseeing the undergraduate degree, the RCVS Dip AVN and postgraduate Vet Nursing courses.
