Practical examinations
The pre-registration practical examination is in the form of an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). Candidates complete ten OSCE stations designed to check competency in a range of RCVS Day-One Skills for veterinary nurses.
Examinations are normally held three times a year in the UK.
Candidates for the pre-registration examinations can obtain further information on the OSCE stations by contacting the Veterinary Nursing Department on 0207 2020 788.
