Final opportunity to pay renewal fees before removal
30 April 2025
To avoid extra costs and removal from the registers, we are asking all veterinary surgeons and veterinary practices that have outstanding annual renewal fees to pay these as soon as possible.
As of 30 April 2025, there are still more than 2,400 vets that have yet to complete their renewal which was due on 1 April. The fee goes up by £36 on 1 May and anyone who hasn’t paid by 1 June will be removed from the Register of Veterinary Surgeons, meaning they will no longer be able to legally practise as a veterinary surgeon.
The Registered Veterinary Practice Premises (RVPP) fee was also due by the 1 April, there are still around 250 premises with an outstanding fee. Any practices with an outstanding fee on 6 May will be removed from the register and will no longer be able to order or supply medicines.
Both fees can be paid via the RCVS MyAccount area.
If you have any questions about registration or payment issues, please contact the RCVS Registration Team on [email protected] or 020 7202 0707.
