With the recent publication of the veterinary workforce modelling in December 2024, join us for this series of interactive webinars which revisit the seven ambitions of our Workforce Action Plan published in 2022.
Via its seven ambitions, the Action Plan presents what the College is doing to tackle the issues.
The seven ambitions are:
- Shape leaders at all levels
- Confidence, culture and recognition
- Greater responsibility for veterinary nurses
- Welcoming a modern way of working
- General practice – a chosen pathway
- An attractive career for everyone, including those who have left
- Improving client interaction and communication
Ambition five
This session will be based around Ambition Five: General practice - a chosen pathway. Join our expert panel who will be provide thought provoking discussion on how general practice can be showcased as a chosen career path that has opportunities to be satisfying and rewarding for vets and vet nurses.
Presenters
The session will be chaired by RCVS Director of the Advancement of the Professions, Angharad Belcher. The panel will include Jenny Millington MRCVS, Ami Sawran MRCVS, Linda Prescott-Clements (RCVS Director of Education), Laura Huntenburg (Vet Student) and Prof. Nick Cooper.
