Royal College Day will take place on Friday, 4 July 2025. It is open to all RCVS members and associates.
Royal College Day is our annual celebration of achievement within the veterinary and veterinary nursing professions. It falls into two parts; our Annual General Meeting and our Awards Ceremony. For more information please visit the Royal College Day webpage.
Programme
Annual General Meeting
- 10:30am - Registration and refreshments
Open to all registered veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses - 11:00am
- Formal declaration of RCVS Council election results and appointments
- Presentation of Annual Report and Financial Statements 2024
- Council Meeting to approve the new 2024 Officer Team - President, Vice Presidents and Treasurer
- 12:00pm - AGM closes followed by a buffet lunch in the Great Hall
Honours and Awards Ceremony
- 12:00pm - Afternoon registration
- 1:00pm - Awards Ceremony commences. Our Awards Ceremony is open to all.
- Presentation of Awards
- Out-going President’s Address, Linda Belton MRCVS
- Investiture of new President Professor Tim Parkin FRCVS and Vice Presidents Linda Belton, (SVP) and Tim Hutchinson MRCVS, (JVP)
- New President's remarks
- Guest speaker address
- Afternoon Tea in the Great Hall.
