Biography

Pam qualified from RVC in 1979. She worked in mixed practice then small animal practice becoming a partner in a Veterinary Hospital.

She has always been interested in improving standards and was a practice standards inspector from the start of the BSAVA Scheme.
She was Lead Assessor of the RCVS PSS until 2020.

Her interests lie in encouraging practices to use quality improvement tools like guidelines, checklists and clinical audit to improve patient care and outcomes. She is also keen on helping practices deal with errors and improve systems rather than blaming individuals - so improving team member learning and job satisfaction.
