Final chance to renew Specialist, Advanced Practitioner and Fellowship statuses
26 June 2025
Fees for retaining Specialist and Advanced Practitioner status, and for remaining part of the RCVS Fellowship, are due by Tuesday 1 July 2025.
Veterinary surgeons who wish to retain these statuses will be paying a reduced fee this year as the fee will cover the period from 1 July to 31 March 2026.
This is because, from next year onwards, Specialist, Advanced Practitioner and Fellowship renewal fees will be aligned with paying the standard annual renewal fee for veterinary surgeons to remain on the Register. These payments will therefore be made within the same timeframe as part of the introduction of a new system aimed at streamlining and simplifying our processes.
This means that, in 2026, Specialist, Advanced Practitioner and Fellowship renewal fees will need to be paid by 30 April and will cover the period to 31 March 2027.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement this change.
To pay your Specialist, Advanced Practitioner or Fellowship fees online, visit the RCVS My Account area using your login details. Further information, including contact information, can be found on your renewal email notice sent on 10 June 2025.
