This session will support veterinary professionals to understand their role in effectively communicating veterinary treatment costs to clients.

- Recognise your responsibilities in communicating cost in a range of situations
Session speaker
Gemma Kingswell, RCVS Head of Legal Services (Professional Standards)
Gemma is Head of Legal Services (Standards) at the RCVS. She is a barrister who began her career practising criminal law and, after making the move to professional regulation, worked on cases for the General Medical Council and Nursing and Midwifery Council. Since moving to the RCVS in 2014, Gemma has worked in many different areas ranging from Policy to Practice Standards. She now heads up the Standards and Advice team, which supports the Standards Committee in developing the Code of Professional Conduct and Supporting Guidance, and provides advice to the professions and members of the public in respect of these.
