Biography

Myra is an RCVS and European Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine and has been active in the veterinary sector for more than 30 years.

She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary surgeons and has published and lectured nationally and internationally.

She co-founded North Downs Specialist Referrals, a Specialist Veterinary Referral Hospital in Surrey, in 2005. A purpose build new hospital was opened in 2008 and extended in 2014. The business grew to 75 members of staff and was sold in 2015.

Since then Myra has been actively involved with the RCVS (Fellowship, Advanced practitioner credentials, VetEvidence Editorial board) and is a trustee of the British College of Veterinary Specialists.

She is an angel investor and NED of PitPat, which is a company which produces dog activity monitors.

Myra also holds the IoD certificate and diploma in Company Direction.
