Dr Zoltan Szabo DVM, Dipl.ACZM, Dipl.ABVP(ECM), Dipl.ABVP(Avian), GpCert(ExAP), FRCVS, is an internationally recognised specialist, educator, and researcher in exotic animal medicine. As founder of the Exotic Veterinary Academy, he delivers practical, evidence-based resources to veterinary professionals worldwide, empowering colleagues to provide advanced care for birds, reptiles, and small mammals. Dr Szabo leads Concordia Exotics, Asia’s premier exotic pet hospital, and has authored nearly 40 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, significantly advancing clinical standards for non-traditional companion animals. A dedicated mentor, he lectures and conducts workshops around the globe, sharing surgical techniques and clinical insights with thousands through his active social media presence, particularly on Instagram. Guided by the motto, “no patient is too small to help,” Dr Szabo is devoted to elevating exotic animal medicine and strengthening the global RCVS community.
