Sharing positive feedback

Had a great experience with your veterinary practice? Let them know. Sharing your feedback not only shows your appreciation, but also helps recognise and promote excellent veterinary care across the UK.

This page offers ideas on how to thank your vet team or share your feedback - including ways to let the RCVS know about exceptional service.

Positive feedback means a great deal to veterinary professionals. It boosts morale, helps teams feel valued, and reinforces high standards of care.

By sharing your experience, you also help other animal owners find trusted, compassionate veterinary services, creating a community where quality care is recognised and celebrated.

Thank your practice directly

The most meaningful way to say thank you is to tell your vet team in person. You can also share your appreciation with a thank you card or by leaving positive feedback on their website or social media pages.

Many practices welcome online reviews as a way for clients to reflect on their experience and recognise the care their team provides.

Recommend your practice to others

Personal recommendations are one of the most trusted ways to choose a veterinary practice. If you're happy with the care you and your pet received, tell your friends, family, and fellow pet owners.

This helps others find quality care while supporting your veterinary practice.

Share your feedback with the RCVS

We're always pleased to hear when clients have had exceptional experiences. If you'd like to share your feedback with us, please email our President at [email protected].

We’ll send a congratulatory letter to the practice to recognise their work and let them know their efforts are appreciated.

Nominate your practice for an award

If you feel your veterinary practice deserves formal recognition, you can nominate them for a veterinary award. Several organisations run award schemes that celebrate excellence in veterinary care, including:
