Mrs Kathryn Latimer Jones

Biography 

Kathryn Latimer Jones DipHE CVN, DipAVN, CertVNECC, CertEd, RVN is a Registered Veterinary Nurse, educator and assessment professional with over 25 years' experience across emergency and critical care, referral hospital, university and out-of-hours settings. She combines advanced clinical nursing expertise with teaching, clinical coaching, leadership, assessment and CPR training. Kathryn is Director of The Vintage RVN Ltd, through which she provides practical CPR education for veterinary teams, and is a RECOVER Certified BLS and ALS Instructor. Her current professional roles include Question Writer and Scrutineer for Central Qualifications, Assessment Content Coordinator and NCert Examiner for ISVPS, ECC Tutor for Vets Now, member of the RCVS Charter Case Committee and member of the RCVS Academy Panel. Kathryn has previously held senior nursing leadership roles at Northwest Veterinary Specialists, including Head of ICU and Head of Nursing, and has clinical experience in independent, referral, university and out-of-hours practice. She has lectured nationally and internationally on emergency and critical care nursing topics and has several published educational articles in The Veterinary Nurse.
