Sam qualified from Bristol University in 2015 and undertook an internship at London Veterinary Specialists before moving into general practice with Village Vets in North London.

During his time as a first opinion vet, Sam began performing outreach in the local community to provide a veterinary service to the pets belonging to those experiencing homelessness. It quickly became apparent to Sam that there was an urgent need for a comprehensive veterinary outreach service for these pets. Sam then teamed up with Jade Statt and, along with a dedicated team of vets and vet nurses, they founded the charity StreetVet for which Sam is now a trustee.

Sam currently works as the clinical director at the Village Vet hospital in Hampstead and is undertaking a post graduate certificate in cardiology.

Sam enjoys mentoring new graduates, enhancing the client experience and relishes the variety of general practice
