RCVS improves access to its services with launch of new CRM and online portal
We have recently upgraded our customer relationship management (CRM) system to improve how we store information about veterinary professionals and practices, how veterinary professionals can view and update that information, and how they can access other digital services via a new online portal called MyRCVS.
- Date Published:
The new MyRCVS (formally known as MyAccount) makes accessing the following RCVS services quicker and easier as they are all now available via a single login:
- 1CPD - for recording, planning and reflecting on continuing professional development (CPD);
- RCVS Academy - the free digital learning platform which has dozens of courses for veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses;
- Stanley - the online system used by RCVS-accredited practices to manage the Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) assessment process and get step-by-step guidance on PSS requirements;
- the Veterinary Graduate Development Programme (VetGDP) platform, used by new graduates and their VetGDP Advisers to manage their progress; and
- Nursing Progress Log (NPL), used by student veterinary nurses, their clinical coaches and educational institutions to track how they are meeting the RCVS Day One Competences.
Members of the professions will also now be able to access MyRCVS to update their personal and professional details, manage registration, raise concerns, view invoices and pay fees. In the coming months, further functionality will be added including the ability to register for RCVS events, and the CRM will enable email communications to be sent in a more targeted and helpful way.
Darren Tysoe, RCVS Chief Digital Officer, said:
“Our new CRM and online portal make it easier for veterinary professionals and practice staff to access the services and information they need through a more intuitive, personalised digital experience. By modernising how we connect with and support the professions, we're making everyday interactions simpler, faster and more responsive.
“It also provides a strong foundation for future innovation, enabling us to keep improving our services and adapt to the evolving needs of the professions."
In addition to the new MyRCVS, improvements have also been made to the RCVS Find a Vet platform to bring it in line with the new RCVS website launched earlier this year. It now has an accessible new design that is easier to read on mobiles and screen readers and an improved, more intuitive search function.
For those looking to learn more about navigating MyRCVS, we have published ‘Using your new MyRCVS account’ and ‘Getting started with your new MyRCVS account’ guides.
We have also organised a webinar taking place on Wednesday 12 August 2026 from 12.30pm to 1.30pm during which Andrew Scanlan, RCVS Head of IT Project Management, will demonstrate how the new system works, what to expect from it, and how it will support a simpler, more streamlined experience. Sign up to the webinar via the RCVS Eventbrite page.
A recording of the webinar will be made available after the event for those who aren’t able to join.
