Three RCVS disciplinary hearings to take place in October 2025

The RCVS will be holding three disciplinary hearings in October 2025.

The first is a joint Disciplinary Committee hearing for Dr Christopher Robert Butterworth MRCVS and Dr Melissa Jayne Bexon MRCVS and will take place at the RCVS office in Hardwick Street, Clerkenwell from Wednesday 1 to Tuesday 7 October 2025.

The second is a Veterinary Nurse Disciplinary Committee (VN DC) hearing for Rebecca Megan Davies RVN that will take place virtually over Zoom from Monday 20 to Friday 24 October 2025.

The third is a VN DC hearing which will also take place at the RCVS office in London from Monday 27 to Thursday 30 October 2025.

Update as of Tuesday 28 October 2025: the details of the third hearing - taking place from Monday 27 to Thursday 30 October 2025 - have been removed following a successful anonymity application from the respondent to the VN DC at the beginning of the hearing. 

Update as of Tuesday 11 November 2025: the VN DC decided to postpone its judgement for the anonymous individual - whose hearing took place from Monday 27 to Thursday 30 October 2025 - for a period of 18 months subject to them agreeing to undertakings in the meantime.
