Meghan Conroy
Biography
My name is Meghan Conroy and I have been a Registered Veterinary Nurse since 2013. I have worked in both general practice and referral settings in the Hampshire area, gaining broad experience of clinical veterinary nursing across different environments.
My qualifications include a Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, a Graduate Diploma in Clinical and Professional Veterinary Nursing, a Diploma in Feline Nursing from the International Society of Feline Medicine, and RECOVER certification. These have supported my continued interest in high standards of clinical practice, education and professional development. In particular, feline friendly practice and good quality CPR CPD are areas close to my heart.
I am a member of the BVNA, the BSAVA and the Association of Zoo and Exotic Veterinary Nurses, which has helped broaden my understanding of the diversity of veterinary nursing roles and perspectives across the profession.
Outside of work, I am the owner of a number of rescued animals, including dogs, cats and birds - many of whom came home with me from practice, an occupational hazard! Although my animals keep me busy, I also enjoy swimming and aquafit in my spare time.
