Dr Lara Wilson
Biography
Lara qualified from the University of Glasgow in 1996 and moved to work in mixed veterinary practice in Northern Ireland where she still lives with her husband and four children. After several years in mixed practice, she moved to emergency out of hours work for 18 years and completed a Master’s in Business Administration before returning to first opinion companion animal practice.
Her interests include emergency medicine and optimising communication with clients and within veterinary teams.
Her current role is as Regional Clinical Lead for CVS, working with teams across Scotland and Northern Ireland on quality improvement.
At home she has a miniature schnauzer and a Highland pony.
