'Fellows of the Future' student research submissions 2025
The RCVS Fellowship has a broader goal beyond acknowledging and honouring achievements of experienced members in the field of veterinary science. It seeks to foster growth in every veterinarian, no matter where they stand in their career, by promoting their skills and dedication.
Therefore, following previous success, we are once again calling on undergraduate vet students and recent graduates (graduating no earlier than 2024) to participate in our Fellows of the Future competition, to present their original research at Fellowship Day 2025.
Presentations should be no longer than five minutes and will be delivered at Fellowship Day before a judging panel, who will decide the overall winner of the competition.
Last year, we invited the top ten runners up to create posters of their research to display on screens during the Fellowship Day breaks, giving them the opportunity to discuss their research with Fellows in attendance. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive from both students and Fellows, and we will be doing the same thing again this year.
If you are interested in presenting, then please complete the form below by providing a title and summary of your research (500 words max) in a Microsoft Word document or as a PDF. You may also include up to two illustrations or diagrams in your uploaded document if desired.
Eligible overseas students from RCVS accredited institutions are also welcome to enter. All eligible universities and courses are listed on our main registration page.
The deadline for submissions is 4pm on Wednesday 1 October 2025.
Applicants chosen to present will be informed in the week commencing Monday 27 October 2025.
If you are selected to present, we will reimburse all reasonable expenses up to £150 for attending.
All fields are required unless otherwise stated.
