Dr Laura Perez Klein MRCVS

Biography

Laura graduated from Barcelona University in 2001 and has practiced as a small animal veterinary surgeon since. She has worked in small clinics, large hospitals, general practice, referrals, university, and out‑of‑hours settings. Laura’s passion within clinical practice is Emergencies and Critical Care, and since 2018 she has held a postgraduate certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice.

Laura has held several leadership and management positions and has a wide knowledge of all aspects of running and leading small animal practices. She particularly enjoys coaching and mentoring others.

Laura’s current focus is on clinical governance and clinical standards. She leads the clinical complaints team at Vets Now, using client feedback to drive improvements in protocols, guidelines, and clinical teams training, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and effective communication.

In her spare time, she is either rehearsing for a ballet show, colouring a book, or singing in a choir.
