The RCVS Collaboration Award
The RCVS Collaboration Award has been launched for the 2026 Honours and Awards nomination process, to reflect the focus of the new 2025-2029 RCVS Strategic Plan on 'stronger together', with collaboration as one of its key values.
The Collaboration Award will recognise a project that involves more than one individual, organisation or group, that has made a difference to the veterinary professions, animal health or welfare, one health or public health, through working together in a structured way. The nominated team must include at least one RCVS-registered veterinary professional.
Nominations can be made by any MRCVS or RVN, excluding current RCVS Council and VN Council members. Nominees must be MsRCVS or RVNs, also excluding current RCVS Council and VN Council members.
The nomination period for the 2026 RCVS Honours & Awards in now open. Nominations close at 5pm on Wednesday 7 January 2026. To nominate somebody for the Collaboration Award, please download the nomination form at the bottom of this page.
Please note, to fill out the form you will need to open it using Adobe Acrobat, edit it, then save it, and then submit it via our Honours and Awards web form.
This award is also open to self-nomination. If you are self-nominating, please be sure to complete this form in the third person using your own name and preferred pronouns in place of 'I' to avoid bias.
Successful nominees for RCVS Honours & Awards will be announced in March 2026 and invited to attend Royal College Day in July 2026.
