Mr Colin Childs

Biography

Colin ChildsColin retired from the Royal Air Force in 2004 as a senior officer in the Engineer Branch. He was awarded the NATO Medal for leading teams on operations over the Former Yugoslavia and the Iraq Medal for his leadership on operations in that theatre. Since then, Colin founded and ran a business providing energy-efficiency-assessment services and was Chairman of a health and social care employee-owned social enterprise.

As well as hearing employment disputes as a non-legal member for the Employment Tribunals Service, Colin is also a regulatory panel member for the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the General Osteopathic Council. He is also a member of Lincolnshire County Council’s Independent Remuneration Panel.

A Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management, Member of the City and Guilds of London Institute and Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Colin is also a Chartered Engineer with a Level 7 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
