Chief Technology Officer


Richard BurleyRichard is responsible for leading technology and information management within the College. This remit includes the design and delivery of a holistic Digital Strategy, covering all aspects of College operation, and every interaction it has with its members, staff, partners and supply chain. Seeking to identify, design, implement and manage emergent best practice approaches into all RCVS functions by introducing relevant, cost-effective and high-quality technologies and methodologies to improve the College's ability to best support members in continuing to deliver the very highest level of care to all.

With an extensive experience base of leadership across international private and third sector organisations he supports his fellow directors by working with them on evolving the vision for the College and creating plans which deliver measurable improvements to accessibility, efficiency, quality, security, capability and flexibility for all its stakeholders.

Richard holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Kingston University alongside numerous qualifications in leading methodologies and technologies covering the breadth of information, technology and management skill sets.
