Biography

Peter Robinson, RCVS Council nomineePeter Robinson graduated from Glasgow in 1971, and spent three years as a lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Pathology. He then moved into mixed, mainly farm animal, practice in Lincolnshire for four years, before moving to Warwickshire and purchasing a similar practice. Over the next 12 years, the practice expanded to a three centre four vet practice.

He sold the business in 1990 and after a two year spell of locum work, he moved into small animal practice in Dubai.

He returned to the UK in 2002 and spent the next ten years employed as a senior veterinary surgeon, again in mixed practice, until retirement in 2012.

Since retiring, he has kept himself busy as a locum, doing mainly routine small animal surgery.

During his career, he has taught veterinary nurses, both in a training practice and in the classroom.
