Lucie Goodwin

Lucie Goodwin

Lucie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2004 and spent the following two years working in a busy small animal hospital in Bristol. Having developed a love of internal medicine, she returned to the RVC in 2006 to undertake a residency in small animal medicine, and following completion returned to the West Country to work for the University of Bristol and Langford Veterinary Services as a teaching fellow and internal medicine clinician. Lucie worked at Langford for two and a half years, before taking a short career break to help establish the charity 'Brighter Bristol'.

Since qualifying, Lucie has also had experience of working within the veterinary charity sector and private referral hospitals. In her current position, she combines an enjoyment of veterinary internal medicine with a role that allows her to offer support to practitioners with their cases.

Lucie enjoys all aspects of veterinary internal medicine but particularly nephrology, urology and geriatric care. She is also interested in the development of evidence based veterinary medicine to establish best practice techniques.

Outside of work, she loves to travel and enjoys being creative whilst continuing to volunteer for charities in the Bristol area.
