Dr Krista Arnold MRCVS (BSAVA)

Biography

Krista graduated from The University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna in 1994, and also gained her postgraduate doctorate there in 2001. After graduating she worked in mixed and small animal practice, veterinary nutrition and the pharmaceutical industry in Austria before moving to the UK in 2004 since when she has been a practicing companion animal veterinary surgeon. She currently provides locum support to various practices as well as engaging in veterinary international commercial consultancy.

She has been an active BSAVA volunteer for many years and recently finished her 2 year term as Chair of the BSAVA International Affairs Committee following the previous four years representing the BSAVA to the Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinary Associations (FECAVA). She is a Board member of the Accreditation Committee for Veterinary Nurse Education (ACOVENE) and appointed by ACOVENE as an accreditor for European veterinary nurse education programmes. She has also been actively involved in Veterinary Continuous Education in Europe (VetCEE).
