Registration dates

If you are applying to become a registered member of the RCVS, you will need to submit your application as normal. The RCVS offices are currently closed and we will be processing applications, whilst we are working remotely for the foreseeable future.

Please submit your application 4 weeks before you intend to begin work in the UK, to allow enough time for your application to be processed and for us to receive all your required documents and payment. You will be contacted during the processing of your application if we have any queries regarding your eligibility requirements or documents you have submitted.

Please note, whilst the RCVS offices at Belgravia House are closed, we will not be carrying out registration appointments in person, on scheduled Tuesdays and Fridays. Registration appointments will be carried out via video, for the time being, to help with social distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic.

You will receive further information during the processing of your application regarding a video registration appointment date.
