CPD interactive workshops

13 May 2021: These workshops are now full. If you are interested in receiving the workshop recordings, please email Deborah Rowlanes on

We’re holding two workshops during May 2021 to provide you with information and insight about two key CPD topics:

Reflecting On Your CPD

Tuesday, 18 May 12-1pm

Reflection is an important part of outcomes-focused CPD, but it doesn’t have to be onerous. Whether you’ve yet to start reflecting on your CPD and would like some direction on what it is (and what it isn’t), or you have some experience and would appreciate some hints and tips on how to approach it, this webinar will help. We will review how to reflect and demonstrate how the features in our 1CPD app make reflecting quick and simple. No previous experience of reflecting on your CPD is required, so it doesn’t matter if you’ve yet to give it a go.

What Counts As CPD

Thursday, 20 May 12-1pm

There’s more to CPD than courses (whether they are in real life or virtual) and you may be unsure about what can count towards your CPD hourly requirement. If you would find some guidance on what you can and can’t include in your CPD helpful, then this interactive workshop is for you. Designed to clear up any confusion about CPD planning and achieving your objectives for the year, this session is an opportunity to answer any questions you may have.

About the workshops

Our Lead for Postgraduate Education, Jenny Soreskog-Turp, will host the sessions and she will be joined by vets and vet nurses who will share their experiences of CPD and may provide a few tips you can put to work in your own CPD.

The two sessions will be interactive and there will be a significant portion of time devoted to Q&As. You will be able to submit questions live during the event, and you can also submit questions as you register for the workshop.
