Biography

Dr Little qualified from Glasgow in 1981. He has spent time both in academia and in practice.

He taught small animal medicine at the University of Glasgow for a decade from 1988. His PhD research, which took place at the University of Bristol, concerned chronic otitis in dogs. Other research has concerned small animal internal medicine and cardiology; much of this has been published from practice.

He has worked in general practice since 2000, based at the Barton Veterinary Hospital in Canterbury, where he does a mixture of referral work, principally in cardiology, and first opinion consultations.

Since January 2019 Dr Little has been working three days a week which allows him to pursue other interests, especially sculpting.
