Country-specific requirements for applicants from Poland wishing to register as a veterinary surgeon in the UK

Along with your application, you may need to supply additional documents as outlined below;   

  • Please ensure you provide a photocopy of your primary veterinary qualification in both English and Polish.

 

Qualification awarded, or training commenced, before 1 May 2004

If you have a Diploma that was before 1 May 2004, or your training began before this date, you will need to additionally provide ONE of the following, either:    

 

    • a photocopy of your Certificate of Compliance from the competent authority certifying that your veterinary qualification is in compliance with the minimum training requirements, and a certified English translation where necessary;

or

    • a photocopy of your Certificate of Acquired Rights from the competent authority certifying that you have effectively and lawfully been engaged in the activities in question for at least three consecutive years during the five years prior to the date of issue of the certificate, with a certified English translation where necessary.
