A new version of the Practice Standards Manual is now available.
It includes changes to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, effective from 10 June, made by the Home Office. These include the fact that tramadol has now become a controlled drug and has been added to Schedule 3 of the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001.
The new regulations can be read in full online.
The updated Manual can be downloaded and a list of changes since 2012 can be found at the end.
