New homepage and mobile website launched

We’re very pleased today to launch our brand new homepage and mobile website and hope that the changes will make using our website a much better and more informative experience.

Our new homepage has a number of new features to help provide a wider range of information about our news and activities, and makes our most popular content more easy to find.

The new mobile site means it will be easily accessible across all mobile and handheld devices.

We’ve introduced a new ‘Connect with us’ section to showcase our different social media channels on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Flickr.

Clicking on the respective social media icons will either display the latest updates on those channels, or enable you to connect to them directly.

We have devoted the middle of the homepage to our popular content, in particular our Find a Vet search facility and a drop-down list of our most frequently used pages.

There’s a new ‘Meet the team’ panel, which displays a different member of RCVS Council, VN Council or our senior team on each visit to the site, and links through to their biography and any declarations of interest.

Plus, there’s a redesigned news panel and a direct link to the latest blog post from our CEO, Nick Stace.

Similar changes have also been rolled out across the RCVS Knowledge homepage, including an additional feature called ‘Get involved’ which suggest ways in which you can participate in current Knowledge activities and initiatives.
