The RCVS Veterinary Nurse Disciplinary Committee has suspended a Gwent-based veterinary nurse from the Register for two months after she failed to respond to repeated requests from the College to provide her continuing professional development (CPD) records.

Government recognises impact of Brexit on veterinary profession

Last week we and the British Veterinary Association received a letter from the Home Office stating that it recognises the “vital work” that UK and EU vets currently do, and will continue to do after the UK’s exit from the EU, but cautions that UK-based EU vets’ working rights can only be protected if reciprocal agreements can be guaranteed for British citizens living in EU member states.
