Welcome to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons

Complaints

We register veterinary surgeons to practise in the UK and investigate any complaints against them. We can either remove a veterinary surgeon from the Register, suspend them or close a case with advice. From April 2011, the same powers extend to registered veterinary nurses.

In this section you can find out about our disciplinary procedure, and what to do if you would like to make a complaint, or if a complaint has been made about you.
