Biography

Neil Smith was commissioned into the Royal Army Veterinary Corps in 1989.  His career has taken him all over the world and has included small animal and equine practice, meat inspection and managing human pharmaceutical product development. He has also been an LVI and OVS.

Neil has wide experience of working with a range of Government Departments.

His current role is ensuring the delivery of Primary Healthcare (including Occupational Health, Mental Health, and Physiotherapy) to the Army in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Neil has also locumed in private practice, gained clinical experience with the PDSA and more recently worked for the Blue Cross Hospital in evening clinics.
