Letters of Good Standing

If you wish to register with another veterinary association you may require a letter of good standing to confirm that you are a current Member of the RCVS, you are not the subject of any RCVS disciplinary enquiry and there are no disciplinary findings against you.

There is an administration charge of £3.53 for the provision of letters of good standing. We cannot accept credit card payments.  Please send a cheque, postal order or bank draft for this amount, with a covering letter stating your name and registration number and the veterinary association that you wish to register with.

It is advisable that you arrange your letter of good standing before you leave the country, if this is possible.

You should apply for a letter of good standing allowing 15 working days before it is required by the other regulatory body.
